Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa is situated in the Raa Atoll that is one of the many atolls in the Maldives. Raa Atoll’s scuba is common for the reef on its submerged islands also known as Thilas and is ideal for both beginners and advanced divers. The marine life in these side of the Maldives, consists of a range of tropical fish and corals, but you’ll still find sharks and turtles. On the sandy bottoms, you’ll find bearded scorpion fish and amongst the reefs, there are many species of Napoleon wrasses, crustaceans, octopus, dolphins & manta rays.
Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa encourages guests to explore as much as possible, as a way to create awareness on the ecosystem and marine biodiversity of the Maldives. This is possible thorough many activities well planned by the resort’s 5-star PADI Diving Center such as, dolphin excursions, fishing, diving, snorkeling and sunset cruises.
All of these activities are set by the TGI Diving International Center that operates 12 diving centers in the best diving destinations all over the world. Moreover, Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa diving center has PADI certified staff, meaning that they are more than prepared in assisting all guests.
In addition, Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa hosted 5 participants that positively passed a three-day training program initiated by TGI Maldives in collaboration with PADI. The course was conducted by the PADI Regional Manager, Mr. Watt Wenger and, the center emphasized the importance for their divers to be up to date with the latest PADI standards.
